FOR THE PEOPLE
A Working Man for the Working People.
Hear Kenny's thoughts on lobbyists, property insurance, and democracy.
KENNY'S PRIORITIES
Reproductive Freedom
Extremist Republican Florida Legislators like my opponent Jason Shauf BANNED abortion with virtually NO exceptions.
I support limiting government interference with patient’s medical care and giving people the freedom to make their own healthcare decisions with their doctors.
Property Insurance
Elitist Republicans ran Florida for the past 30 years; under THEIR watch, homeowner’s insurance premiums skyrocketed. Florida's homeowner’s insurance is 4X the national average, all because Florida Republicans like Jason Shauf take millions from the insurance industry. We must lower the cost of housing & rent.
Democracy
Radical Republicans made it harder to vote in elections and protest peacefully. Right-Wing Republicans fear a government of the people, by the people, for the people. MAGA want a government "of the corporations, by the lobbyists, for the CEOs!" But eroding democracy is NOT conservative, it is treasonous!
Clean Water
Clean water should be a right.
Corrupt Republican politicians like my opponent Jason Shauf take so much money from polluters they are willing sell our water rights to the highest bidder just to line their pockets. We must ensure quality of life for future generations and enshrine the right to clean water in the Florida constitution in 2026.
Labor
Workers are the backbone of our economy and society. Out-of-touch, Radical, anti-union Republicans voted to eliminate workers's heat protections in hot Florida. My millionaire Republican opponent has never worked outdoor manual labor. Democrats like me know how important it is to keep workers safe and out of the heat.
Minimum Wage
Elitist Florida Republicans voted to BAN localities from raising their minimum wage above the State. For all Republican' talk about smaller government, they don't actually practice what they preach.
Democrats like me believe in strong home rule and localities being able to raise the minimum wage.
